Animal Control Unit
The Animal Control Unit is operated by the Inglis Police Department; however the Animal Control Officer is contracted with the Town of Inglis and is not a sworn officer with the agency. We currently utilize one Animal Control Officer to cover the Inglis-Yankeetown area for all animal control needs. Our animal control officer has the training and equipment for a variety of animal control services needs that may arise.
Please do not attempt to take animal control service needs into your own hands. If there is an emergency, dial 911 for Police assistance.
