The Patrol Unit also conducts training and provides information to the public on Crime Prevention, Personal Security and Safety as well as Fraud Prevention. To contact a member of the Patrol Unit, please call the Police Department at (352) 447-0303 and ask to speak to an officer or supervisor on duty. To have a member of the Patrol Unit speak at a special event, home owners association meeting, school, church group, youth group or professional business meeting; contact our agency Monday through Friday during normal business hours to discuss your specific needs or requests. We ask that requests for a member to speak at your event or function be made at least 10 ten business days in advance, in order to adjust for scheduling and Officer availability.
