This purpose of this page is to inform the public of various enforcement waves conducted by the Inglis Police Department throughout the year. The Inglis Police Department strives to keep its citizens, visitors and the media informed of local events and happenings throughout the year.

Traffic Crashes Are The #1 Cause Of Death For Children In The United States!!!
Many of these deaths may have been prevented if the children were properly buckled in child safety seats.
With these statistics in mind, The Inglis Police Department is doing their part to keep children safe. By taking an aggressive approach to child safety by working with the community, the Inglis Police Department wishes to raise money to purchase car seats for children. This is a non-profit program, and all proceeds go towards purchasing car seats for needy children. Each sponsor will have a car seat donated to a child in their name. When the car seats are given away parents will be instructed on how to install the car seats into their vehicle properly to ensure their child’s safety. So please help our Department to safeguard the children of Inglis.
